What's going on at the house in February 2015?

Welcome to our new House for an Art Lover blog. Check back here often to find what’s been happening and what’s coming up at the house.

February is in full swing at the house which gives me the opportunity to tell you all about the exciting things going on.

For all our budding artists you can now book on to classes for our spring/ summer programme. In total we have over 50 classes on offer, suiting a range of ages, abilities and interests. Why not give our Lino Print master class a go, or turn your hand to screen printing, you could even give our life drawing class a try. For more information on our up and coming courses check out our course list here.

For our first exhibition of 2015 we have the exciting Ghost Croft Archive. The exhibition runs from Sunday the 18th of January to Saturday the 28th of February and is truly one not to be missed. Stop by between 11am – 4pm between Wednesday to Sunday to witness a selection of walks to work by Chairman Pollock PPSSA. ‘Listen, a thought can make a landscape’. To find out more about this wonderful exhibit head over to our site here.

Now we have something for those of you who still haven’t decided how to spend Valentines Day. Whether you are looking for somewhere to take your other half or fancy spending the day eating good food with friends The Art Lover’s Café has something for everyone. Come and celebrate a Valentines lunch with us, where you will get 2 courses for £19.95 or 3 courses for £24.95. Check out the spectacular menu here.

Last but by no means least our new website has launched. Everything you could ever need to know about the house, including exhibits, opening times, the café menu and function hire are on our new site. Head over and check it out it’s a great site even just for a browse, if we do say so ourselves.
