Festive Recital
Mezzo-soprano Fiona Joice returns to the House this winter to present an afternoon of live performance in the gorgeous setting of the Music Room for a festive themed recital. Fiona is a member of the Scottish Opera Chorus most recently singing in the 2024 revival of Sir Davids McVicar's La Traviata by Verdi and Oedipus Rex by Stravinsky as part of the International Festival in Edinburgh.
Fiona graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with honours of the First Class before studying for her masters at the Royal Academy of Music London, where she graduated with distinction. She went on to complete her training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in the Alexander Gibson Opera Studio. Now based in Glasgow, Fiona also owns Music Bus Glasgow South, offering early years musical education for 0-5 year olds.
Fiona will lead you through a programme of Classical, Opera and Christmas repertoire to get you in the festive spirit, followed by tea, coffee, mince pies and chat.
