Fold and Print Cold Indigo Dyeing

12 May 2018 10:00 am - 13 May 2018 4:00 pm

Learn the basics of indigo shibori over a weekend. This workshop will allow you to go a little further with the basic tie-dyeing you may be familiar with. By folding, stitching and clamping a folded cloth and using the cold indigo process, you will create magical blue and white tie dye patterns.

Over the week end you will learn the basic of cold dyeing with Indigo blue from mordanting your cloth to fixing the pattern. Natural cotton will be available to use together with some various “pattern making aids”. You could also bring along your own items or products to work on. This workshop is available to all 16+ and no previous experience is necessary.
