27 September 2011
Ronald F Smith was awarded the HAL Paisley Art Institute prize in 2010 and chose to curate a group show of work by contemporary artists whom he admired. The artists Ronald selected to show alongside him are all well-established, successful and respected painters, including George Birrell, James Cosgrove, Alexandra Gardner, James McNaught, Gordon Mitchell, Robert D Murray and Glen Scouller.
The core theme that underpins this exhibition is sea and landscape, which enables differences or similarities within the group to be observed and interpreted.
We are holding a private view evening on Tuesday 27th September from 6pm - 8pm. Feel free to pop along for a browse of this exhibition. Alternatively the Art Lovers Cafe Gallery is also open daily from 10am to 5pm.
