Scottish Tourism Business of the Year Nomination 2006

House for an Art Lover is one of five businesses short listed for the prestigious National Business Awards for Scotland 2006 in the category of VisitScotland Tourism Business of the Year. Attended by some of Scotland's most successful companies, the awards recognise best business practices and processes.  Sponsored by Orange, the ceremony will be held at the Hilton in Glasgow on the 14th September.

Recognising the achievements of both large and small organisations, the National Awards for Scotland is an independent programme spanning all of Scotland, and pays tribute to achievement across all markets reflected in 15 distinct categories.

The VisitScotland Tourism Business of the Year Award commends the organisation that has shown initiative and innovation, combining its commercial needs with those of its customers.

Coinciding with the 10 year anniversary, the acknowledgement is a remarkable achievement.  In addition to recognising accomplishments of the House as a unique venue, it also credits the dedicated staff and their commitment to high-quality customer service, at the same time acknowledging the House for an Art Lover as one of Glasgow's most popular cultural attractions.
