Award for Best Website

House for an Art Lover has won the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA) award for Best Website announced at their recent annual conference.

Created by Glasgow based design team Clearfuse, the recently revamped site was praised for being easy to navigate and for having numerous useful features that allow visitors to organise a tour, learn about the membership scheme or even book tickets for one of the many events securely on-line.  The site also provides the latest on news, events and competitions as well as recent menus and current exhibitions.

Representing their fourth business award nomination this year, Chief Executive James Hughes, was delighted with this recent acolade, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the opening of the House to the public: 'We take great pride in presenting a dynamic but practical website that is informative and easy to use - and importantly keeps with the ethos of Mackintosh.  This recent award is truly appreciated and it both recognises and commends our endeavours to pursue innovative methods to represent the House whilst striving for a high standard of excellence.'
