Scotland's Michelin-star Chef Tom Kitchin to cook at House for an Art Lover Talented Michelin-star Chef Tom Kitchin will be tantalising the taste buds of lucky guests at House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park on Sunday 11 March 2007. At the age of 29, Tom Kitchin is believed to be one of the youngest chefs ever to win a Michelin star. Following the recent accolade awarded by Michelin, Europe's leading gastronomic handbook, getting a seat in Tom's restaurant, The Kitchin, has become nearly impossible as eager foodies flock to his Edinburgh eatery, making his guest chef appearance at the House even more exceptional. Tom Kitchin's unique marriage of seasonal Scottish produce with the classical French techniques has been mastered working alongside some the world's greatest chefs, including the Michelin-starred Pierre Koffmann, Guy Savoy and Alain Ducasse. The elegant event will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Music Room where guests will be treated to an impressive four-course meal with fine wines, commencing with a champagne reception in the Main Hall at 7.00pm. Further enhancing an enjoyable evening, award-winning singer and Celtic harpist Katie Targett-Adams will provide entertainment with her unique fusion of contemporary and traditional Scottish music. Said Chief Executive of the House James Hughes: 'This promises to be one of our extraordinary events for the year and it lives up to the ethos of the House combining fine cuisine with culture. If our past guest chef evenings are anything to go on, we're certain this special event will appeal to a variety of tastes and as in the past, tickets will go quickly.' Tickets to this unforgettable evening are £80 per person. For ticket reservations, please telephone 0141 353 4770 or visit our online booking service. |
