Macrame Workshop (Saturday)

21 October 2017 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This 1 day workshop will teach you the basics of macrame knots and designs, and how to apply them to make wall hangings and plant hangers. By the end of the course you will leave with a romantic plant hanger and plant, perfect for the urban gardener.

All materials to make your macrame designs are provided as well as some delicious cakes and refreshments. If you have any treasured items at home, such as drift wood, metal piping, beads and gems, please bring them along and we’ll incorporate them in your design.

This workshop will be based in the Studio Pavilion allowing participants to take inspiration from Lucy Wayman’s exhibition.

No previous experience is required. Choose from either the Saturday or Sunday to do the course.
