ARCHIVE
The House launched its Arts Education and Events programme with the ARTscape festival in October 2011. This featured artists talks by Patricia Cain (Drawing on Riverside/The Riveted Eye) and Adrian Wiszniewski; a Landscape Painting in Oils masterclass with artist, Alexandra Gardner and a Moku Hanga Japanese Woodblock Printing weekend masterclass with the artist Elspeth Lamb.
The children's programme included lightHOUSE - a lantern making workshop and PHOTOforest where we teamed up with Glasgow Life's Big Inspiration Festival and the photographic artist Kenny Bean to encourage children to take a closer look at the botanical beauty of Bellahouston Park.
